Community Ministries                                                                 

On first Tuesdays of the month, a community potluck is offered in the church's fellowship hall for "More Fun Together."

 

Every year, on Christmas Eve, members of our congregation deliver cookies and baked goodies to those who have to work on Christmas Eve. We deliver these goodies to places like the police department, fire station, the hospital, care facilities for the elderly, hotel and gas stations.  We also deliver Christmas gift boxes to Options, the provider of services for those families experiencing domestic violence.

 

We support the efforts of Genesis-Thomas County Food Pantry through financial gifts and regular collections for non-perishable food items as well as toiletries and cleaning products. On Super Bowl Sunday, we participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring to specifically gather needed items and financial support for this important community outreach.
